Candace has been with the firm since 1995, serving initially as administrative assistant and now as office administrator. Some of her duties include: responding to inquiries from clients, billing and accounts receivable, and collection administrative matters.

Benjamin B. Griffiths

Ben rejoined the firm in June of 2023 after working with the firm as a clerk in the summer of 2022. Ben assists Attorney Weiner and Attorney Girvan with bankruptcy, litigation, and collection matters. His duties include: drafting pleading, correspondence with courts and clients, drafting settlement agreements, supplementary process applications, skip tracing, mechanic liens and negotiating settlement and payment plans. Ben is planning on going to Law School in the Fall of 2024.

Martha Stearns

Litigation Paralegal

Martha began her career as a paralegal in 2002 and joined our firmed in February 2024. Ms. Stearns has worked for both large and small firms in the areas of bankruptcy, litigation, personal injury and medical malpractice. At Weiner Law Firm, Martha supports Attorneys Weiner and Girvan in collection, litigation and bankruptcy matters as a Litigation Paralegal. Martha is a highly organized and detail-oriented professional with expertise in litigation matters and bankruptcy matters. Ms. Stearns responsibilities include drafting legal pleadings, discovery and communicating with Clients, the Courts and the Sheriff Departments. She assists the attorneys in all aspects of the files.

Marsha Shapiro

Bankruptcy Paralegal

Marsha Shapiro is the firm’s bankruptcy paralegal and she has been employed with the firm for over 15 years and has worked with Attorney Weiner since 1994. Her primary responsibility is assisting Attorney Weiner in the handling of all Chapter 7 Panel Trustee matters. Ms. Shapiro also works with Attorney Girvan. Her duties include the drafting of pleadings and motions, responding to inquiries from attorneys, clients, creditors and the courts.
